We created a state of the art machine learning solution for our government, to determine those individuals that are most vulnerable to Covid-19 in our municipal wards. We analysed South African census data and identified a problem.
Our team won the 3rd position of the competition and we are invited to participate in the Global SC21 Datathon representing South Africa altogether as a team with the problem solvers from the University of Johannesburg (UJ) and University of the Witwatersrand (WITS) as the winners of the DIRISA Datathon.
